Wagon, shoes, puppies

We had a fairly mellow weekend. Jeff and I both had to work yesterday....he was on call...and I had to attend Family Weekend on campus. It was a great night...we watched the football team win....which is always a plus. We woke up this morning...and after church made a run to IKEA. Our sweet little Henri decided he wanted to get out of his crib "by myself, mommy." Now...his crib is about 3+ feet off the ground....so....not a great option. Needless to say....we are bed shopping for both kids. :)

After naps...Henri wanted to take Lili for a ride in the wagon. Here he is pulling her down the road. He's up to a six-block loop...



The excitement of tonight....it started to rain....here he is running to keep us dry....

We made it home....after a trip to the potty....we needed a little refreshment before dinner. The kids are always moving....it's hard to get them both in the same photo frame...minus the blur...we take what we can get.



Sweet toots....



Lili has a thing for shoes. It's crazy....she doesn't have a ton of shoes...this is not something we encourage....but she is obsessed with shoes. Baby S...brought over a new load of hand-me-downs. Mommy was very excited to see all the sweet clothes we can start wearing. But Lili....she found these fabulous flip flops....that she proceeded to wear for the next two hours. Oh...and she sat in water outside....so she wore only her shoes, and her diaper. Lovely. :)



Note that her pugs are totally crammed into the flips...but that's not stopping her...



One would fall off...we'd hear..."shoes, shoes" and then we'd have to re-cram her Cinderella toes into her jeweled flips...



And then....once she was ready....



She would stomp her feet around the floor like a sumo wrestler.



With a sweet Lili smile.....



We broke down at IKEA...and bought both kids a new pet. Puppies! Stuffed, of course....but for $6, the best pet around. :)



Henri named his, Bingo. :) Lili...Mo-mo for our neighbor's dog, Monet.
