Ponytails...

Ellinor has very little hair. But her teacher, ms. Bella, sent her home with this little pony curl. Of course...Lili and Elli loved it. Now Lili is in charge of elli's hair in the morning.

Good luck, Elli!

Start of school

Here they are on the first day of school--Henri, kindergarten, Elli, room 1, and Lili, pre-k. We are over a month in...so far we have made it. But....it's been a rocky start.

Henri didn't eat the first day of school. We practiced opening his lunchbox. We practiced opening his backpack. I didn't tell him his lunchbox was in his backpack....so....

Then...we had a conference with the principal for Henri running around at the bus line and saying, nanny nanny boo boo...and telling the principal he was a meany.

Art...well...see note below. :)

But the topper was Henri being put on the inner city bus and taking a spin for an hour. Luckily--the driver brought him back to school. Only after the principal had searched our backyard and shed--I am sure he was having a heart attack. Now that all is over--we can laugh--but needless to say....our introduction to Orange County public schools has been less than stellar. We've made it through month one. Here's to October!

Disney on ice

We took the kids to frozen on ice. It was actually delightful. Henri dressed as a knight--Lili as Elsa. Two light spinners, an Elsa doll, one bag of popcorn and $100 later--all was great! :)
