Go Knights!

We took the whole family to a recent UCF game. We tailgated at the alumni center--which was great. Lili was in heaven--face-painting and cheerleaders. :)

Watching the big game. It was so hot....and that aluminum stadium--was a it like a tin foil pan--we lasted 8 minutes in--and let the heat win. For Elli--it was a face-breaker. :(

She is so pretty....

Back at home--couldn't let the paint go....

Cake pops...

I have been trying to have mini-dates with each toot. Here is Lili--before school. Finally she let me convince her to wear her hair down.

Only for a moment--up it goes...complete with a breakfast cake pop.

And a circle nose baby.

Halloween..

So...I always feel like we have one year to dress up the kids for our entertainment--flashback to h as super corn man. :) here is Elli...our Gnomio!

Lili as...Elsa. Along with every other 3-7 year old girl in America. :)

Henri's school asked all kids to dress as book characters. H went as Pete the Cat and his four groovy buttons. All because he could take his skateboard. :)

I helped in his class. Maybe my first and only time. Here he is pouting and refusing to be in the class picture.

And...Ms. Schweizer's kindergarten. She is pinkalicious. Kids were great. Avery is Elsa. Gemma is standing next to ms. Schweizer. :)

Trick or Treat

Pete the cat became ironman....and we met up with Cooper (red man) and Griffin (grim reaper) or....Creeper as Henri stated. :) posing with Jeff's collection of inflate-ables. :)

We made it to the tea cups...

Yikes for me and Elli...

And the carousel.

And it was a wrap. :) melt-down at the women's restroom--so we called it a day. All good. :)

Ponytails...

Ellinor has very little hair. But her teacher, ms. Bella, sent her home with this little pony curl. Of course...Lili and Elli loved it. Now Lili is in charge of elli's hair in the morning.

Good luck, Elli!

Start of school

Here they are on the first day of school--Henri, kindergarten, Elli, room 1, and Lili, pre-k. We are over a month in...so far we have made it. But....it's been a rocky start.

Henri didn't eat the first day of school. We practiced opening his lunchbox. We practiced opening his backpack. I didn't tell him his lunchbox was in his backpack....so....

Then...we had a conference with the principal for Henri running around at the bus line and saying, nanny nanny boo boo...and telling the principal he was a meany.

Art...well...see note below. :)

But the topper was Henri being put on the inner city bus and taking a spin for an hour. Luckily--the driver brought him back to school. Only after the principal had searched our backyard and shed--I am sure he was having a heart attack. Now that all is over--we can laugh--but needless to say....our introduction to Orange County public schools has been less than stellar. We've made it through month one. Here's to October!
