Life with Three! : Mommy duty....

This past week, Jeff had to work nights. Doesn't happen often...but when it does, it reminds us of how grateful we are to have 9-5 ish jobs. Since I was alone with our babes for dinner and bedtime....here are a few pics from last week.

Sweet Lili. Still in love with Mickey and Minnie Mouse...in fact...she holds her two figures together and pretends they are kissing. It's cute....but also a bit disturbing. Watch out for her teen years! :)

She is wearing her first pair of tennis shoes. For the new school year, we bought her shoes like Henri's....in pink. I think she wore them every day last week. :) In fact....she let me take off her shirt and skirt....but the shoes....even for bath time....it was a tough sell.

Ahh....the bath. Here is our little Henri....he's talking up a storm. It's so funny...because if I say, "Henri...let's go get in the bathtub." He'll look at me and say, "No, I go and get in the bathtub." Maybe he'll be an attorney?? Arguing his case in court??? Note Lili's face....funny.

After bath....playing in the closet. They are really starting to play so well together. Henri loves to hide in the closet....and now Lili will join him, most of the time. The great news....well...maybe not great....but Henri is scared of the dark...so when I am ready for the game to end, I just turn out the light...and presto....they both emerge. :)

On Friday....Henri and Lili wanted to go for a wagon ride. It has been such a hot summer, but the last few nights have been absolutely beautiful. Here is Henri taking Lili for a ride in the wagon. Crazy....but apparently he is only going to pull...and is no longer going to ride. The good news...whenever he hears a car...he stops and lets them go by. He's a conscientious wagon puller.

They had so much fun! A few months ago...taking two kids to the park by myself would have been a nightmare. Luckily, they both are growing up, and they love to chase each other. So...we had a great time playing. Here is Lili going down the slide.
