Lili the cheerleader

Our little lil decided she was going to try out being a little red devil cheerleader for the day. After a four hour practice one Saturday....here she is performing her cheer and dance at the red devil game.

She was most proud of her kick...rightfully so. :)

Go Red Devils!

Big day in our house...sweet Elli turned three on the 13th of February. To celebrate...we had a party at Kool Kids with her friends. My little pony themed cupcakes for everyone!

Waiting for the cupcakes....

Her's the birthday girl...in her ridiculous headband that I couldn't refuse to buy. :)

Making a wish...

And loving the frosting...

I can do it...

We are almost three. Good and bad--but tonight I kept hearing--I can do it. I can do it.

Then I hear Jeff say...fine. Then I see this walking out of her room.

She did it!

MT photos...

I have a ton of catch-up to do...but we had these pics taken of the kids this fall. The beauty of Montana...meet down at the river for a mini photo shoot. :)

Henri: 6 years old, loves soccer, football, taekwondo, riding his electric scooter. Wants to buy a car, grow his hair like Justin Bieber, play guitar, and skip to ninth grade. Loves all fruit, is learning to read, loves math, and is a protective big brother.

Lili: 5 years old. Loves all things sparkly and girly. Favorite colors are purple and pink, and wants to paint her room hot pink. Loves to eat soup, noodles, sushi, ham...and will try anything. Is into Shopkins, and wants to be a cheerleader someday.

Ellinor: 2 years old. Loves her brother and sissy, wants to do anything they do. She loves to watch the iPad--especially songs (usually with a heavy Indian accent), Marsha and the Bear, Peppa Pig, and Michael (a boy who reviews toys on YouTube). Goes to daycare three days a week and Leo is her boyfriend.

Henri's hair

I know we have two girls...but we have not had nearly the hair battles with them...that we have with Henri. Flashback to the summer--he was teed up to have the lady who cuts the Griz players' hair--two swipes of her clippers--he pitched a fit--and spent the next two months with a mullet.

Lately he has been obsessed with the Bieber look. Even though we have explained it probably won't work--he can't let it go.

Two mornings ago...we are getting ready for school--and he comes out of the bathroom--having given his hair a trim. He wanted to look like Brett. Who is Brett? I had to google him...from a Disney show, KC Undercover.

Our house rule...you cut your hair...mom clips it off. So...last night...out came the clippers.

The beauty of Henri. Totally un-phased. Still aiming for the "Brett."

Might be brushing for a long time.....

Ukelele

Over a year ago...Henri asked to play guitar. His grandparents bought him a small ukulele, but he wasn't ready to play...

Flash forward one year. Mason, a high school student, teaches him a private lesson once/week. Honestly...he's probably had five lessons...but he loves it. And I love listening to him play.

YouTube Video

He says he is going to be famous. :) oh Henri....

Amazon Prime

I have always joked that the reason we survive in Glendive is because of our Amazon Prime membership. Last night...Jeff and I had a sitter for the first time since we moved to MT.

Upon our return home...I jump in bed...am catching up on my phone (email, texts, Facebook)....and I see an email stating our car has shipped! Car?! That's funny. We didn't order a car. I look up my order history....as we were leaving the house...Henri was playing Crossy Road on my iPad. At 5:58 (10 minutes after we left)...I apparently ordered a child car with one click.

Needless to say....I think I know my culprit. Especially because it is a blue, cobra muscle car. :) and...I think I know what will be immediately returned. :)

Amazon on iPad disabled. Phone app hidden.

Lili's hair

We have only cut Lili's hair once...we have always been told to let it grow. Now that we live in a much drier climate...we decided to take Lili in for a deep condition, trim, and a flat iron. She has been dying to have straight hair--I am not ready to do anything chemically--but a good flat iron every now and then seemed great. :)

Here she is...clean and washed.....

It took almost an hour with two of us working the flat iron. Here is the final product...post trim.

All was great. Until...she took a bath with Ellinor. One swipe to the head with a wet Barbie....and I was back in the straightening business.

Back with our straight hair....

So happy....the Ariana grande style. :)

Go Knights!

We took the whole family to a recent UCF game. We tailgated at the alumni center--which was great. Lili was in heaven--face-painting and cheerleaders. :)

Watching the big game. It was so hot....and that aluminum stadium--was a it like a tin foil pan--we lasted 8 minutes in--and let the heat win. For Elli--it was a face-breaker. :(

She is so pretty....

Back at home--couldn't let the paint go....

Cake pops...

I have been trying to have mini-dates with each toot. Here is Lili--before school. Finally she let me convince her to wear her hair down.

Only for a moment--up it goes...complete with a breakfast cake pop.

And a circle nose baby.
